YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Tommy Chriszt scored four goals, but Anderson (S.C.) University defeated Young Harris College 21-8 in a non-conference men's lacrosse match Wednesday (Feb. 16) evening at the YHC Soccer and Lacrosse Field.
The Trojans improved to 1-2, while the Mountain Lions slipped to 0-4. Young Harris continues the homestand with a 4 p.m. match Saturday (Feb. 19) against Mars Hill University.
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:
- Gunnar Fagerstrom scored twice for the Mountain Lions, while Kieran Isbister and Jeremy Rice had one each.
- Wyatt Peek distributed two assists, while Fagerstrom had one.
- Alex Buchanan had four ground balls, while Malcolm Henke had three. Isbister and Dylan Wilbur each corralled two ground balls.
- Isbister caused three turnovers for YHC.
- Wilbur registered a career-high with 25 saves in goal for the Mountain Lions, while Colin Korry stopped three.
- Anderson led 9-5 at the half, but broke the match open with nine goals in the third quarter.
