MARS HILL, N.C. | The Young Harris College men's tennis team recorded a 4-3 decision over Lees-McRae College Saturday (Oct. 8) evening.
The match against Mars Hill was suspended with the Lions leading 3-1. The match will be completed at some point during the season.
YHC, which improved to 1-1, took the doubles point as
Rodrigo Mendoza and
Chimo Minguez Ribera won the first flight, while
Pieke Bouman and
Will Hernandez claimed the third flight.
The Mountain Lions earned the victory as
Janis Auslands,
Eric DelValle and
Caleb McCurry won their respective singles matches.
YHC will close out its fall season Oct. 21-22 at the UNG Invitational in Dahlonega, Georgia.
