AIKEN, S.C. | The Young Harris College men's basketball team had four players score in double digits as the Mountain Lions fell to the Universityt of South Carolina-Aiken 115- 87 in a Saturday (Jan. 22) afternoon Peach Belt Conference contest at the Convocation Center.
The Mountain Lions fell to 3-14 overall and to 0-8 in the PBC, while the Pacers improved to 12-5 and 6-1. Young Harris returns to action Monday (Jan. 24) as they travel to Americus, Georgia, to face Georgia Southwestern State University in a Peach Belt contest at 7:30 p.m.
INSDIE THE BOXSCORE:
- Josh Petteno and Karl Chavis led the Mountain Lions with 15 points each. Petteno and Chavis combined for a total of five rebounds in the game.
- Carl Cleveland scored 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds for Young Harris, while Lenny Pradia scored 13 and dished out four assists.
- Caleb Towns had six rebounds and three assists.
- Preston Parks led the Pacers with 26 points and three rebounds.
- The Pacers outrebounded the Mountain Lions 44-37, and had a 23-11 advantage in second chance points.
