YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Young Harris College Director of Athletics Jennifer Rushton announced the suspension of the 2020-21 men's lacrosse season, citing the resignation of head coach Jay Goldsmith and the low roster numbers.
 
"After much thought and consideration, Young Harris College will suspend its men's lacrosse program for the 2020-21 season," said Rushton. "The combination of low roster numbers and the resignation of Jay Goldsmith contributed to this difficult decision."
 
Scholarships will be honored for affected student-athletes who wish to return to Young Harris College, as well as for incoming signees.
