YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Young Harris College Men's Lacrosse Head Coach Matt Ledon has announced the hiring of
Ryan DiFrancisco as the newest member of the Mountain Lions' coaching staff.
A native of Suwanee, GA, DiFrancisco competed for four seasons as a student-athlete with the Young Harris men's lacrosse program. His familiarity with the program and recent playing experience provide him with a strong understanding of the program's expectations and what it takes to compete at the collegiate level.
Having spent his entire collegiate career at Young Harris, DiFrancisco brings firsthand knowledge of modern collegiate game pace, positional execution, and locker-room dynamics. As a recent player and alumnus, he specializes in player development, fundamental mechanics, and bridging the gap between coaching strategy and athlete execution on game day. DiFrancisco's coaching approach focuses on developing a high game IQ, relentless conditioning, and fostering a disciplined, winning culture within the program.
"Young Harris is home, so coming back as a coach was an easy decision," DiFrancisco said. "Having spent four years on this field as a player and graduating from YHC, I know exactly what it takes to balance academics, push through the grind, and compete at this level. I'm excited to bring that firsthand experience to the coaching staff, give back to a program that gave me so much, and help this next group of Mountain Lions reach their full potential."
In addition to his experience at Young Harris, DiFrancisco previously served as an assistant coach at the club level with the Blackhawks 2024 and Legacy 2024 teams.
