YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The Conference Carolinas women's cross country preseason poll has been released.

Young Harris College has been picked to finish ninth in the conference.

North Greenville University was picked as the preseason favorite as they received 13 first-place votes and 209 points. Converse received two first-place votes and 198 points for the second-place pick. Lees-McRae was selected to finish in third place, University of Mount Olive in fourth place, and King University in fifth place. Young Harris received 110 points for the ninth place selection.

The Mountain Lions return eight runners from last year's team that finished in ninth place in the Conference Carolinas. They open the 2026 season by hosting the YHC Cross Country Invitational Sept. 4^th.
