"I'm really proud of the grit that the women have shown this season," Young Harris College assistant cross country coach Dylan Dicicco said. "We started the season with a tough course at home on a very hot day and UNG was similar. The women really went for it and it was a bit of a mixed bag at the end but that's what you get when you take a risk. They've been battling some pre existing injuries, sickness, etc. but ended up placing right in the middle of the pack. Their efforts haven't gone unnoticed and I'm really excited to see what we can accomplish this Friday in Huntsville and the rest of the season!"

Up Next:

The mountain lions will return to action on Friday (Sept. 25) at the Twilight at John Hunt invitational in Huntsville, Alabama.
