YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Young Harris College fell to Converse University 3-0 in a Conference Carolinas volleyball matchup Saturday (Sept. 19) afternoon at the Harp Recreation & Commencement Center.
The Mountain Lions came up short in each of the three sets, falling 25-19, 25-15 and 25-18, moving to 6-5 overall and 0-4 in conference play.
Hannah Depp led Young Harris with eight kills while adding six digs and two service aces.
Amya Dryden,
Piper Duckworth and
Abby Peppers each recorded five kills, with Peppers hitting .400.
Lyza Thigpen led the offense with 17 assists and added 10 digs, while
Maddie Pelfrey contributed nine digs.
Young Harris finished with 24 kills and eight service aces. The Mountain Lions return to action Wednesday (Sept. 23) evening when they host Shorter University at 6 p.m.
