GREENVILLE, S.C. | The Conference Carolinas women's soccer preseason poll has been released. 

Young Harris College has been picked to finish fourth in the conference. 

Francis Marion was picked as the preseason favorite as they received 10 first-place votes and 220 points. Belmont Abbey followed with five first-place votes and 204 points. The University of North Carolina Pembroke was selected in third place, and Chowan University was selected fifth. Young Harris received 166 points in the poll. 

The Mountain Lions return 13 players from last year's team that finished in fourth place in the Conference Carolinas. They open the 2026 season by hosting Carson Newman University at the YHC Soccer Field Aug. 27^th for a 5 p.m. matchup.
