Mrytle Beach, S.C. | The Young Harris Men's and Women's Track and Fiield teams concluded the outdoor season competing at the Conference Carolinas outdoor track and field championship. The meet spaded three days with many great and historic performances. Day two was marked with the programs first outdoor conference champion, with Xander Potter in the 3,000m steeplechase, and a second-place finish for Ryland Hunley in the decathlon.
Day three was also marked with great performances with Aidan Vrazel winning the 1500m and coming back in the 5,000m to place 2nd. Thrasher Wilkins also had a second-place finish in the 800m. The men finished 5th overall scoring with a total of sixty-four points.
The women's team had great performances throughout the competition with Lexi Greene highlighting day one with a fourth-place finish in the 10,000m and doubled back on day three to place sixth in the 5,000m. Kaleigh Bond scored points for the women's team on day three with a fifth place finish in the javelin throw. Both the women's 4x400m and 4x100m relay teams placed 7th overall to score. The women finished thirteenth overall with a total of seventeen points.

- Lexi Greene placed 4th in the 10,000m with a time of 39:55.44
- Brynley Walraven ran 4:59.90 to place 8th in the 1500m
- Kaleigh Bond threw 36.61m in the javelin to place 5th
- 4x100m relay team ran 50.79 to place 7th
- 4x400m relay team ran 4:15.06 to place 7th
Next Up:
The Mountain Lions finished their season at the conference meet. The men's and women's distance squads will be preparing and working to try to have a succesful cross country season. Speed and Power will take this time in the off season to rest and prepare for the next track season.
