Rome, Ga. | Young Harris track and field kicked off their outdoor track & field season Saturday. (March. 7). The mountain lions came out strong for the first outdoor meet of the season as athletes from both the men and women's side posted conference qualifying marks and times. The 10,000m runners kicked off the meet with strong performances, all running personal best and had three men run under the automatic qualifier for the conference meet. Speed and Power continued their successful track campaign with multiple personal best and strong performances.

- Mary Proctor ran 1:02.61 for 2nd in the 400m
- Lexi Greene competed in the 1500m running 5:19.04
- The 4x400m relay team ran 4:18.11 for 4th
- Kaleigh Bond competed in the discuss throwing 104-3.50 ft. placing 8th
