TIGERVILLE, SC | The Young Harris College Mountain Lions delivered a clutch road performance Wednesday night, rallying past North Greenville 71–68 inside Hayes Gymnasium to earn another major Conference Carolinas victory. 

After trailing at halftime, Young Harris controlled key stretches of the second half and stayed within striking distance before delivering the decisive final moment. The win moves the Mountain Lions to 19-6 overall and 15-2 in conference play as the postseason push continues. 

Player of the game is awarded to Justin Payne, who buried a go-ahead three-pointer with one second remaining to stun the home crowd and secure the win. Payne finished with a game-high 24 points, knocking down four shots from beyond the arc, including the game-winner. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE: 

• Justin Payne led all scorers with 24 points and hit the decisive three in the final second. 

• Jalen Ware scored 20 points and pulled down seven rebounds. 

• Cameron Bleshoy recorded a double-double with 13 points and a game-high 13 rebounds. 

• Christian Drummer directed the offense with a team-best six assists while adding six points. 

• Young Harris converted 18 of 23 free throws and stayed composed late at the line. 

• The Mountain Lions forced 18 turnovers and turned those into 25 points. 

• Young Harris created extra possessions with 13 offensive rebounds. 

• Savion Brown paced North Greenville with 28 points.
