TIGERVILLE, SC | The Young Harris College Mountain Lions delivered a clutch road performance Wednesday night, rallying past North Greenville 71–68 inside Hayes Gymnasium to earn another major Conference Carolinas victory.
After trailing at halftime, Young Harris controlled key stretches of the second half and stayed within striking distance before delivering the decisive final moment. The win moves the Mountain Lions to 19-6 overall and 15-2 in conference play as the postseason push continues.
Player of the game is awarded to Justin Payne, who buried a go-ahead three-pointer with one second remaining to stun the home crowd and secure the win. Payne finished with a game-high 24 points, knocking down four shots from beyond the arc, including the game-winner.
