YOUNG HARRIS, GA| The United Soccer Coaches have recognized the 2024-2025 Young Harris Women's Soccer Team with the College Team Academic Award, following an exceptional year in the classroom. The Mountain Lions achieved this award by posting a team grade point average of 3.0 or above, being one of only 438 women's teams to do so.  

Young Harris was one of seven Conference Carolinas women's soccer teams to achieve this distinguished award. The Mountain Lions excelled past the 3.0 GPA mark, achieving a 3.75 team GPA in the spring 2025 semester.  

Young Harris Women's Soccer excelled on and off the field in the 2024 season, posting a record of 9-6-3 while going 8-1-3 in Conference Carolinas. This on-field performance led to a Conference Carolinas Southwest Divisional Championship and a quarterfinal appearance in the conference tournament.  

The Mountain Lions will look to carry this success into 2025, kicking off the season with a scrimmage against Pellissippi State College on August 16th at the YHC Soccer and Lacrosse Field.
