YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The Mountain Lions women's soccer team started off their 2025 campaign with a 4-0 win over Mars Hill University on Thursday (Sept. 4) evening in North Carolina. After almost two hours of weather delays, the match got underway at 6:45 p.m.; within two hours, the Mountain Lions walked out of Meares Stadium with a W in hand.
Head Coach Avram Allen stated, "It took us a while to get going. We definitely had the case of first game jitters." Continuing, "Once the game settled, we were able to play some great soccer on the night. It feels great to win the first one and I am proud of the team effort tonight!"
