MURFEESBORO, NC| The Mountain Lions traveled to Chowan University Saturday (April 5th) for a Conference Carolinas matchup with the Hawks of Chowan University. Young Harris scored two goals in the final minute to secure the victory in today's matchup. 

The Mountain Lions move to 5-8 overall and are 3-4 in Conference Carolinas while the Hawks move to 1-9 overall and are 0-5 in Conference Carolinas. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE: 

• Young Harris took an early 1-0 lead in the matchup with Anderson Kessinger taking the pass from Lukus Olson and finding the back of the net. 

• Lukus Olson made the lead 2-0, scoring a goal by way of an assist from Tommy Chriszt. 

• Chowan responded with a goal from Reed Low to make the score 2-1. 

• Hunter Stagg would make the lead 3-1 with an unassisted goal before Tommy Chriszt added a goal by way of an assist from Grady Stokes to give YHC a 4-1 lead.  

• Jacob Malia and Justin Hill added goals for Chowan to make the score 4-3. 

• Tommy Chriszt would take the pass from Grady Stokes once again and find the back of the net to give Young Harris a 5-3 lead. 

• Reed Low would add a goal for Chowan to make the score 5-4 heading into the 2nd period. 

• Chowan would take an 8-5 lead in the 2nd period, scoring four goals to take the lead heading into halftime. 

• Chowan stretched their lead to 9-5 in the 3rd period before Young Harris rattled off four straight goals from Jackson Scott, David Traywick, Colburn Connelly and Hunter Stagg to tie the game at 9-9. 

• Chowan would take a 10-9 lead heading into the 4th period with a goal by Seth Mackenzie. 

• Lukus Olson and Tommy Chriszt would both find the back of the net early in the 4th period to give YHC an 11-10 lead. 

• Chowan would take a 12-11 lead before Colburn Connelly added the equalizer to tie the game at 12 all. 

• Chowan would take a 13-12 lead in the 4th before Kieran Isbister found the back of the net to tie the game at 13 with under a minute to play. 

• With only five seconds remaining in the game, Hunter Stagg scored the game-winning goal to give YHC a 14-13 victory. 

• Young Harris dominated face off opportunities, besting Chowan 19-9 in face off situations.
