YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. The Mountain Lions took on a gritty Emmanuel team on Wednesday night and fell short with a final score of 47-54 (Feb 5^th). During YH's Purple Out, Parehuia Delamere and Annalise Malone finished with double-digit points. However, Emmanuel held a steady lead to secure the win. 
 
The Mountain Lions move to 13-8 overall and are 7-6 in Conference Carolinas. The Lions move to 8-13 and are 7-7 in Conference Carolinas. Young Harris remains in the 2^nd place slot in the southwest division.
 
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• Both finishing with 11 points, Parehuia Delamere and Annalise Malone were the leading scorers for YH.
• Lilly Griffith was aggressive under the basket, with 10 rebounds. 
• The Mountain Lions had 39 boards on the evening.
• Emmanuel had three double-digit scorers, Naomi Roberts at the top with 15. 
• After a slower offensive first quarter on both sides, the Mountain Lions climbed in points each quarter. 

UP NEXT: The Mountain Lions return home this Saturday (Feb 8^th) to take on the Braves of UNC Pembroke in another Conference Carolinas match-up. Tip-off is scheduled for 2PM.
