MOUNT OLIVE, NC. | The Mountain Lions emerged victorious at the Kornegay Arena against the University of Mount Olive 66-44 (February 15th), with Annalise Malone being the player of the game and an anchor with 33 formidable points. Young Harris was in complete control of the game, retaining the lead throughout the match. UMO's top player, Alexis Durham, had 10 total points for her team. 

The Mountain Lions improved to 16-8 overall and 10-6 in the conference, while the Trojans dropped to 3-19 overall and 2-15 in the conference.

"Tonight was a key road win for us. Annalise Malone was fantastic for us and not just from scoring the ball. She did a great job on the offensive glass.  I thought our defense was really good, especially in the 4th quarter. Parehuia Delamere continues to lead our defense. She's so active on and off the ball, which has really allowed us to disrupt the offensive flow of our opponents. I'm just really proud of how our team has locked in. They're on a mission this month and it's been a joy to watch their growth."

• Ivona Miljanic contributed 12 total points and a perfect two for two at the FT line. 

• Kamryn Bates added six points to the board. 

• Parehuia Delamere assisted her mountain Lion teammates seven times.  

• Lilly Griffith provided solid defense with nine rebounds and added four points. 

• Young Harris College shot 43.1% (25-58) from the field compared to UMO's 37.0% (17-46) field time. 

• Mount Olive's Alexis Durham also recorded eight assists and Jada Priebe contributed nine points to their team.
