YHC Adds Another Conference Win, 65-60

YOUNG HARRIS, GA. The Mountain Lions pick up an important out-of bubble win, taking down Converse University in a hard fought 65-60 win (Feb 1st). Lilly Griffith led the team with 16 total points while also going 6-6 at the free throw line.

The Mountain Lions advance to 13-7 overall, and are 7-5 in Conference Carolinas. The Valkyries move to 5-14 overall, and are 3-9 in Conference Carolinas play.

QUOTING HEAD COACH LINDSEY HUFFMAN:
"It was good to be back in the Harp and I'm really happy we were able to pull out the win. We did a great job on the glass tonight. Parehuia Delamere was phenomenal on the boards. Lilly Griffith had a breakout offensive game. I was really happy to see her make some 3's and build some confidence. It's February and every game is going to be a dog fight. We found a way to win, which is huge."
