Mountain Lions Close Out 2025 With 64–54 Win Over Tusculum!

YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The Mountain Lions wrapped up the calendar year in style, earning a hard-fought 64–54 victory over Tusculum on Wednesday afternoon (Dec. 31) at The Harp. Player of the Game honors go to Rhiannon Saller, who delivered a strong performance off the bench with 10 points and eight rebounds in 25 minutes of action.

With the win, Young Harris improves to 8–4 overall and 2–2 in Conference Carolinas, while Tusculum falls to 1–10 (1–4 SAC). 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

  • Annalise Malone paced the Mountain Lions with 19 points on 7-of-17 shooting, including 4-of-10 from deep, and added six rebounds. 

  • Kamryn Bates stuffed the stat sheet with 15 points and eight assists in 34 minutes. 

  • Off the bench, Rhiannon Saller provided a big lift with 10 points and eight rebounds, shooting 5-of-12 from the field. 

  • Joy Tchamabe chipped in six points in just 10 minutes of action, while Telma Balague added a three-pointer off the bench. 

  • Young Harris shot 40.3 percent from the field, 37.5 percent from three, and 62.5 percent at the line. 

  • Tusculum was led by Abbi Douglas, who finished with 14 points and six rebounds, while Ema Nagyova added 11 points off the bench. 

  • The Mountain Lions dominated the glass, out rebounding Tusculum 36–26, and converted 11 second-chance points. 

  • Young Harris also forced 18 turnovers, turning them into 17 points, and matched Tusculum with 19 bench points.
