YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The Young Harris College Mountain Lions kicked off the new year on a high note, grinding out a 59–52 victory over Barton College on Saturday afternoon (Jan. 3) at The Harp.
Player of the Game honors go to Kamryn Bates, who delivered a stellar performance with a game-high 24 points on 8-of-15 shooting, including 4-of-5 from beyond the arc, while adding six assists in 38 minutes of action.
With the win, Young Harris improves to 9–4 overall and 3–2 in Conference Carolinas, while Barton falls to 7–5 (3–1 CC).
