YHC Surges Past Piedmont On Education Day!

YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The Mountain Lions returned to The Harp for a home non-conference matchup on Wednesday afternoon (Dec. 10) and delivered a strong rebounding performance against Piedmont and ultimately won, 83-63. Player of the game goes to Carl Cleveland; Carl led Young Harris with 29 points and 19 rebounds.  

With the Win, Young Harris rises to 6–3 overall, while Piedmont falls to 4–3 overall.  

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE: 

  • Cameron Bleshoy's 14 rebounds helped him surpass the 500 career rebounds mark.  

  • Young Harris took control of the game by scoring 52 points in the paint and 16 fastbreak points.  

  • Young Harris shot 52.5 percent (31-for-59) from the field, 26.7 percent (4-for-15) from three, and 73.9 percent (17-for-23) at the line. 

  • Young Harris was able to out rebound Piedmont, 48-21. 

  • Piedmont was paced by Jackson Houston, who finished with 17 points and 4 rebounds on 5-for-8 shooting from deep.
