YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Samuel turned in impressive performances during October, placing 5th at the Curahee Collegiate (-6) and 13th at the Patriot Fall Classic (-3) against strong competition. He currently ranks 71st nationally and 2nd in Conference Carolinas. 

Mountain Lions Director of Golf John Lichtenwalner says, "I am very proud and excited for Samuel to win Freshman of the Month for the second month in a row." Continuing, "he was consistently solid over 54 holes at the Currahee Invitational, and then rebounded from a mediocre first day at The Patriot by threatening our program record 18 hole score in the final round. He's been working hard and making good decisions on campus and it has shown this fall."
