DUE WEST, S.C. | Young Harris College volleyball dropped a four-set decision to Erskine College Wednesday evening at Belk Arena in Conference Carolinas action. 

The Mountain Lions (8–18, 5–13 CC) fell by scores of 22–25, 28–26, 19–25, and 12–25 to the Flying Fleet (8–18, 6–12 CC), despite a strong second-set effort that saw YHC push past set point to even the match at 1–1. 

Inside the Box Score:

• Abby Schirm led the Mountain Lions with 15 kills and 17 digs, earning a double-double and contributing 17.0 points. 

• Lauren DeSilets hit a team-best .350 with eight kills and added a block assist. 

• Kathryn Urbanek posted six kills on a .308 hitting percentage. 

• Lyza Thigpen paced the offense with 21 assists and added seven digs and one ace. 

• Linsey Burke added 13 assists and eight digs. 

• Lexie Martin led the back row with 13 digs and two service aces. 

• Hannah Depp contributed five points and 10 digs. 

• Alexa Berry recorded two blocks and three total points. 

• Young Harris finished with 42 kills, 39 assists, 75 digs, and five service aces.
