YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Your Mountain Lions showed grit and determination Wednesday evening, outlasting the Flying Fleet of Erskine College in a thrilling five-set battle inside The Harp Recreation & Commencement Center. Young Harris rallied after dropping the first set and dug deep to clinch a hard-fought 3–2 victory, marking their second straight home win and another step forward in Conference Carolinas play.
Abby Schirm is your Player of the Match! Schirm powered the Mountain Lions with 18 kills and 24 digs, delivering clutch plays on both sides of the court to help seal the win. Her relentless energy set the tone for a team performance fueled by resilience and strong defense.
The victory moves the Mountain Lions to 6–11 overall and 3–6 in Conference Carolinas, while Erskine drops to 3–13 overall and 2–7 in conference play.
