YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Young Harris College senior goalkeeper James Dee has been named the Conference Carolinas Defensive Player of the Week following a standout performance that anchored the Mountain Lions to a pair of conference victories. 

Dee was instrumental in Young Harris' 6-2 win over Emmanuel in the Roar War rivalry match on Wednesday, recording three saves to help secure the high-scoring home victory. He followed up with a commanding effort on the road against Francis Marion, tallying six saves in a 2-0 shutout win that solidified the Mountain Lions' unbeaten week in league play. 

The senior's consistency and leadership between the posts were key as Young Harris continued its climb up the Conference Carolinas and national standings. Dee's efforts not only preserved crucial points but also showcased his ability to rise to the occasion in pivotal moments.
