ROME, GA| Young Harris Volleyball traveled to the home of Shorter University today for a Conference Carolinas clash. Young Harris narrowly fell in sets one and two before clawing back to take set three. Ultimately, Shorter would take set four and the match over the Mountain Lions. 

Young Harris now moves to 7-13 overall and 4-8 in Conference Carolinas while Shorter moves to 12-6 overall and 9-1 in Conference Carolinas. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE: 

• Young Harris fell to Shorter 3-1. 

• Kathryn Urbanek led the Mountain Lions with seven kills and two blocks in the match with Hannah Depp spiking five kills. 

• Linsey Burke recorded three service aces while Lexie Martin collected two in the match. 

• Lyza Thigpen posted nine assists to set up the YH attack. 

• Lexie Martin recorded nineteen digs and Hannah Depp added ten for Young Harris. 

UP NEXT: The Mountain Lions will return to action on Saturday (Oct. 18) as they head to Emmanuel University for a Roar War matchup.
