Wilson, NC| The Young Harris College men's lacrosse team made the conference tournament in their inaugural season as part of the Conference Carolinas. The Mountain Lions took on Barton College on Tuesday (Apr. 23) afternoon on the road and ended up falling by a score of 14-3. The Mountain Lions finish their season 6-9 overall, doubling their win total from last season. The Bulldogs advance to the Conference Carolinas Semifinals on Friday (Apr. 26), in Barton, North Carolina.
QUOTING HEAD COACH BRANDEN GELDART:
"When you compete with the defending conference champions you need to limit mistakes and execute at the highest level to be successful. Barton's goaltender had a great day in net and we did not have a great day clearing. When you mix those two together it makes it hard to win."
