Emory, VA| Young Harris traveled to Emory, Virginia and took on Emory $ Henry College on Saturday (Mar. 2) afternoon; the Mountain Lion bats were on fire and the pitching was dominant. Young Harris rallied early on, plating four runs in the first and the third. Emma Black got the start for YHC and gave up just one hit and two earned runs, striking out two batters along the way.
Young Harris improves to 11-5 this season, and Emory and Henry falls to 3-6 overall. The Mountain Lions and the Wasps return to action tomorrow (Mar. 3) for a matinee doubleheader, with the first pitches scheduled at 12 and 2 p.m. in Emory, Virginia.
