Young Harris, GA| The Harp Recreation and Commencement Center was packed on Saturday (Feb. 10) afternoon, as 450 spectators watched Young Harris take down the Crusaders. At halftime, YHC was up 34-26, but as the second half rolled on, Belmont Abbey stormed all the way back to tie the game up at 52 a piece. The Mountain Lions locked in down the stretch of the second half, and as the dust settled, the Mountain Lions had won 72-68.
Young Harris College improves to 14-9 overall, 10-2 at home, and 8-5 in Conference Carolina play. Belmont Abbey College falls to 9-14 overall, and 7-6 in conference play. The Mountain Lions return to action on Wednesday when they head to Central, S.C. to face the Southern Wesleyan Warriors at 7 p.m.Â
