QUOTING HEAD COACH JEREMY CURRIER:
"We met our defensive goals. Lees-McRae is a high scoring team that averages well North of 80 PPG; we held them to 59. We knew we had to do a good job on the glass and we were plus 10 on the rebounding margin. Guys stepped up and made plays, we did not have Karl Chavis; Matija Millivojevic, Cameron Bleshoy, and Carl Cleveland all made big plays." Continuing, "This Tuesday marks the last game of a three game home stretch, so we want to take care of home court. Toccoa is athletic, they play up-tempo, and they are going to attack the rim, and get downhill offensively. We want to come in here and keep getting better. Our defense has been really good and it bails us out when we have these turnovers. We need to get the guys healthy tomorrow and then we will get into that scout and focus on our next opponent."Â
