Due West, S.C.| The Young Harris College Mountain Lions women's team are on a roll to open the new year, winning their second game in a row. The Mountain Lions led the Flying Fleet for over thirty-four minutes on their way to Wednesday evening's victory.
Young Harris advanced to 5-9 on the season, and Erskine fell to 2-8. The Mountain Lions return to action on Saturday (Jan. 6) afternoon to face the Trojans from the University of Mount Olive at the Harp Recreation and Commencement Center in Young Harris, GA at 2 PM.

Crystal Corley continued her fiery start to 2024, leading the Mountain Lions in points for the second straight game, scoring 15.

Dustie Obah scored 11 points, shooting 3-4 from the field and added two steals defensively.

Lilly Griffith recorded the most rebounds for either team with nine.

Shanece Mitchell was the leading scorer for Erskine, with 10 points.

Young Harris outshot Erskine from the field 35.2% to 20.6% respectively.
