Young Harris, GA| The Mountain Lions Women's basketball team is off to a hot start in 2024, winning their third straight game. Young Harris led the Trojans by 21 with under five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. 
Young Harris improved to 6-9 on the season, and the University of Mount Olive dropped to 3-8 overall. The Mountain Lions return to action on Tuesday (Jan. 9) to face Emmanuel University in Franklin Springs, GA at 5 PM.  
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

	Taylor Gardner scored 14 points, racked up five assists, and grabbed three rebounds.  
- 
	Crystal Corley continued her dominance with 16 points, six rebounds, four assists, and two steals.  
- 
	Lilly Griffith grabbed 10 boards, racked up two assists, and tallied three points.  
- 
	Laila Anderson once again led the University of Mount Olive in points with 13.  
- 
	Young Harris shot 50% from the field, compared to Mount Olive's 30.4%.  
- 
	The Mountain Lions outrebounded the Trojans 38 to 26.
