YOUNG HARRIS, GA| The Mountain Lions fell short to the Crusaders in today's conference game, with a final score of 55-66 (Jan 24th). Free throw execution was a struggle for Young Harris, who in a 4th quarter effort couldn't quite make it happen.
The Mountain Lions move to 7-12 overall and are 3-6 in Conference Carolinas, while the Crusaders move to 11-5 overall and are 5-4 in Conference Carolinas. YHC will head to Converse this Saturday (Jan 27th) and play at 2pm.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Crystal Corley (10), Lily Griffith (7), and Dustie Obah (6) led Young Harris in rebounds. As a team, the Mountain Lions had 39.
- Crystal Corley had a double-double with 11 points and 10 boards.
- North Greenville found success from beyond the arc; the Crusaders ended the night shooting 50% from the 3PT line.
- Geassy Germano led the Crusaders with 15 points, followed by Greyson Boone with 14. Boone stayed perfect from the 3PT line, going 4-4.
