YOUNG HARRIS, Ga.| The Young Harris College women's cross country team finished 7th in the 4k YHC Cross Country Invitational Friday (Sept. 1) evening at the YHC Cross Country Trail. The YHC Invitational was the first meet on campus in 12 years.
Emily Baars finished first for the Mountain Lions with a time of 17:29.3 finishing in 34th place.
Brianna Dalton was the second YHC runner to cross the finish line with a time of 19:35.5 for 41st place.
Caroline Bass,
Brinley Wilson,
Piper Marsingill, and
Chayil Aponte finished 42nd-45th in the race.
YHC returns to action Friday (Sept. 15) at the Queen City Invitational in Charlotte, N.C.
