Deptula and Cleveland Lead the Way in Young Harris Victory

Young Harris, GA| The Mountain Lions picked up their fourth win in a row over the Columbus State Cougars, 70-56 on Wednesday (Dec. 6) night. After an initial slow start, the Mountain Lions found their rhythm and kept a steady lead over CSU. 

The Mountain Lions advanced to 4-3 overall, while the Cougars fell to 4-3. YHC begins Conference Carolinas play this Saturday (Dec. 9) at 4 PM against Southern Wesleyan.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

  • Cole Deptula led the Mountain Lions with 19 points and recorded seven rebounds.
  • Carl Cleveland scored 14 points and grabbed eight boards.
  • Young Harris shot nearly 40% from the 3-point line, compared to CSU's 19%.
  • Wisdom Uboh (18 points) and Jarrett Adderton (15 points) were the biggest contributors in the Cougars loss.
