YOUNG HARRIS, GA. Young Harris doesn't let up and pulls off a 3-1 win over the Francis Marion Patriots (Oct. 14th). The scores of the sets were (25-23), (20-25), (25-23), and (25-22). This is a big conference win for the Mountain Lions, as they found ways to score all afternoon. Three attackers for YHC had double-digit kills. 

The Mountain Lions move to 8-12 overall and are 5-6 in Conference Carolinas, while the Patriots move to 10-12 overall and are 6-3 in Conference Carolinas. YHC will play at home again this Wednesday (Oct. 18th) against Erskine at 6pm. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE: 

- Lily Hidalgo (19), Chase Vaigneur (14), and Faith Kelly (12) were the kill leaders for the Mountain Lions. Hidalgo and Vaigneur each had themselves a double-double as well. 

- Lyza Thigpen recorded a season high for herself in assists, with 46. 

- Young Harris MB Sophie Bearden had herself a day at the net, hitting for .667. 

- Madilyn Gartner led the Patriots in kills with 14 and Kaylee Gillespie registered 41 assists.
