YOUNG HARRIS, GA. The Mountain Lions steadily kept the lead tonight, taking all 3 sets from the Flying Fleet (Oct. 18
th). The Young Harris offense collectively hit .264 to Erskine's .045.
The Mountain Lions move to 9-12 overall and are 6-6 in Conference Carolinas, while the Flying Fleet move to 2-18 overall and are 2-8 in Conference Carolinas. YHC heads to Emmanuel this Friday (Oct. 20
th) and will play at 7pm.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Joha Bernis was recognized for reaching a career milestone of 1,000 digs at YHC.
- Lily Hidalgo led the Mountain Lions in kills with 15, hitting .308 on the night.
- Faith Kelly was a big contributor to the YHC offense, putting up 9 kills and hitting .286.
- Lyza Thigpen and Mollie Lawrence had 2 services aces each.
- Ali Angell recorded 11 kills and Sally Spangler recorded 6 kills for Erskine.
