YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Georgia College & State University took a 25-21, 25-23 and 25-15 Peach Belt Conference women's voilleyball victory over Young Harris College Friday (Sept. 16) evening at the Harp Recreation and Commencement Center.
The Bobcats improved to 5-7 overall and go to 2-0 in the Peach Belt, while the Mountain Lions fall to 3-9 and 0-1. The teams conclude the two-match series Saturday (Sept. 17) at 1 p.m.
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:
- Chase Vaigneur and Lily Hidalgo each collected nine kills for the Mountain Lions, while Shelby Mullins had five.
- Mollie Lawrence distributed 27 assists for YHC.
- Vaigneur posted 11 digs, while Lawrence also finished in double figures with 10 for Young Harris. Joha Bernis tallied eight more.
- Six different Mountain Lions had an assisted block.
