MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. | No. 64 Georgia College picked up a 7-0 Peach Belt Conference women's tennis victory over Young Harris College Friday (April 8) afternoon at the Centennial Center Tennis Facility.
The Bobcats improved to 13-4 overall and 2-2 in the Peach Belt, while the Mountain Lions fell to 5-12 and 0-4. Young Harris faces Columbus State University in a 2 p.m. PBC match Friday (April 15) at 2 p.m. at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:
- Yureni Gomez forced her match at No. 5 singles to three sets. She dropped the first set 7-5 before taking set two 6-3 to force the super tiebreaker, which the Bobcats won 10-5.
