BELMONT, N.C. | The Belmont Abbey College women's tennis team took two wins from Young Harris College Saturday (March 5) afternoon at the Reidy Tennis Center.
The Crusaders improved to 4-11 after picking up 5-2 and 4-1 decisions against the Mountain Lions, who fell to 4-7. YHC returns to action March 15 when they host Erskine College at 1 p.m. at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.
Zoe Freke recorded a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 4 singles in the first match, while
Catarina Marcko Ferreira took a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 6.
Joselyne Chapui claimed a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 2 singles in the afternoon match.
