YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Erskine College picked up a 5-2 non-conference women's tennis victory over Young Harris College Tuesday (March 15) afternoon at the Bob and Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.
The Flying Fleet improved to 3-6, while the Mountain Lions fell to 4-8. Young Harris returns to action Monday (March 21) when they host Lander University in its Peach Belt Conference home opener at 2 p.m.Â
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:
- Joselyne Chapui and Catarina Marcko Ferreira teammed up for a 6-4 win at No. 3 doubles, but Erskine earned the doubles point as they captured the No. 1 singles match in a tiebreaker.
- Chapui earned a 6-2, 7-5 win in No. 2 singles, while Meghna Mallath recorded a 7-5, 6-4 decision at No. 3.
