Mountain Lions finish in 19th place at Tennessee River Rumble

LENOIR CITY, Tenn. | The Young Harris College men's golf team finished in 19th place at the Tennessee River Rumble hosted by Lincoln Memorial University Tuesday (March 29) afternoon.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:
  • The Mountain Lions completed their second round with a score of 301 on the par 72, 6,986-yard layout at the WindRiver Golf Club and followed that with a 310 tally in the final round to shoot 938 in the 54-hole event.
  • The host Railsplitters won the event with a score of 862, two strokes better than Belmont Abbery College.
  • Will Ranieri was the top Mountain Lion golfer as he tied for 56th at 228 after rounds of 73 and 76.
  • Harry Redman tied for 63rd after rounds of 72 and 77 gave him a 54-hole score of 230.
  • Ruben Lindstrom shot back-to-back rounds of 78 and finished in a tie for 91st at 238.
  • Martin Kjellser posted rounds of 80 and 87 and finished in 102nd place a 252.
  • Laurens Schulze-Doering had scorecards of 78 and 79 in the second and third rounds.
  • The Mountain Lions close out their regular season Monday (April 4) when they travel to Homer, Georgia, to take part in the Bracket Challenge hosted by the University of North Georgia.
