CLEVELAND, Tenn. | Lee University recorded a 6-1 non-conference women's tennis victory over Young Harris College Wednesday (March 2) afternoon at the DeVos Tennis Center.
The Flames improved to 3-3, while the Mountain Lions fell to 4-5. Young Harris will play two matches Saturday (March 5) against Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, North Carolina. First serve for the matches will be at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:
- Even though Lee won the doubles point, the YHC duo of Joselyne Chapui and Catarina Marcko Ferreira won a 6-1 decision in the second flight.
- Marcko Ferreira earned the point for the Mountain Lions as she picked up a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 5 singles.
