YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The Young Harris College women's tennis team picked up road wins over North Greenville University and Southern Wesleyan University Saturday (Feb. 26) afternoon.
The Mountain Lions defeated North Greenville 5-2 and Southern Wesleyan 6-1 to improve to 6-1. Young Harris travels to Cleveland, Tennessee, for a 2 p.m. match against Lee University.Â
Against North Greenville, YHC won the doubles point and won four of the six singles matches.
Joselyne Chapui won a hard-fought 7-6 (2), 6-0 win at No. 2 singles, while
Meghna Mallath claimed a three-set win - 6-3, 2-6, 1-0 (6) - at No. 4 singles.
Against Southern Wesleyan, the Mountain Lions won five singles matches - all in straight sets - en route to the win.
