HARROGATE, Tenn. | Tusculum University defeated Young Harris College 5-2 in a non-conference women's tennis match Saturday (Feb. 12) afternoon at the LMU Tennis Complex.
The Pioneers improved to 2-1, while the Mountain Lions slipped to 2-2. YHC wraps up its road trip Sunday (Feb. 13) at 9 a.m. when they face Lincoln Memorial University.
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:
- The Mountain Lions picked up their points in the first two flights of singles. Louise Ratiu picked up a 6-4, 7-6 (4) win at No. 1, while teammate Joselyne Chapui earned a 7-5, 1-6, 1-0 (10-3) victory at No. 2.
- Bailee Wilson forced her match at No. 6 singles to three sets. She lost 6-4 in the the first set before taking a 6-3 win in set two. She dropped the super tiebreaker 10-7.
