HARROGATE, Tenn. | Lincoln Memorial University recorded a 6-1 women's tennis victory over Young Harris College Sunday (Feb. 13) afternoon at the LMU Indoor Tennis Facility.
The Railsplitters improved to 3-1, while the Mountain Lions fell to 2-3. Young Harris returns to the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex Saturday (Feb. 19) for a 2 p.m. non-conference match against Anderson (S.C.) University.
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:
- The Mountain Lions claimed the doubles point as winning two of the three doubles matches. LMU won the second flight to give before Young Harris won the final two matches. Meghna Mallath and Zoe Freke teammed up for a 6-3 win at No. 1, before Joselyne Chapui and Catarina Marcko Ferreira clinched the point with a 7-5 win at No. 3.
