YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Karl Chavis led four men's basketball players in double figures with 25 points as the White team edged the Purple team 94-90 in overtime in the annual Purple-White game Monday (Oct. 31) evening at the Harp Recreation and Commencement Center.
Chavis went 10-of-13 from the floor, while
Maclean Hoekwater added 21 points on 7-of-11 shooting.
Lenny Pradia posted 19 points and eight assists for the Mountain Lions, while
Christian Schach added 18 points on six three-pointers.
Cameron Bleshoy pulled down 10 rebounds, while Hoekwater grabbed six more.
Nate Dunlop led the Purple team with 22 points, while
Turahn Thompson added 20 points.
Paul Hosey grabbed a game-high 15 rebounds and added nine rebounds.
Josh Petteno also posted nine points.
The Mountain Lions open their 2022-23 campaign Nov. 11 when they travel to Franklin Springs, Georgia, for a 5 p.m. contest against Chowan University.
