YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Brandon Daniels drove in three runs as No. 6-ranked Lee University defeated Young Harris College 8-3 in a non-conference baseball game Wednesday (April 21) afternoon at Zell B. Miller Field.

The Flames improved to 29-4, while the Mountain Lions fell to 18-14.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:

• Lee took a 5-0 lead through five innings. The Flames scored three times in the second and added two more in the fourth.
• The Mountain Lions got a run back in the sixth. Dahlton Cash struck out swinging, but reached on a wild pitch. Cash moved to second on another wild pitch and later scored on Rome Wallace's single to left field.
• Young Harris scored twice in the eighth on Cash's home run to left field. It was Cash's fifth long ball of 2021.
• Chase Webb (1-1) took the loss for the Mountain Lions. 
• T.J. Byrd and Wallace each had two hits for YHC.
