ATLANTA, Ga. | Eden Davis scored a career-high 29 points as the Young Harris College men's basketball team defeated Morehouse College 83-78 Saturday (Dec. 4) afternoon at Forbes Arena.

The Mountain Lions advanced to 2-5, while the Maroon Tigers fell to 2-5. Young Harris returns to action Wednesday (Dec. 8) with a 7 p.m. tip off against Emmanuel (Ga.) College at the YHC Recreation and Fitness Center.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:

• Davis led the Mountain Lions with 29 points and four assists.
• Seth McCoy scored 21 points for Young Harris and was 6-for-8 in three pointers, while Christian Schach hit five threes for 15 total points. 
•  Karl Chavis grabbed seven rebounds, while Lenny Pradia added five. 
• The Mountain Lions led 38-34 at the half after a free throw shot by Pradia and a jumper by McCoy right before the buzzer.
• The Maroon Tigers held a 34-22 edge in rebounds. 
• There were five lead changes in the first half but the Mountain Lions kept the lead in the second shooting 56.5 percent from the field (13-of-23) over the final 20 minutes. 
• As a team Young Harris was 15-of-20 at the free throw line.
