Mountain Lions compete at NCAA Division II Southeast Regional

SPARTANBURG, S.C. | The Young Harris College women's cross country team competed at the 2021 NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Saturday (Nov. 6) morning.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:
  • The Mountain Lions finished in 21st place with a 626 score.
  • Queens University of Charlotte won the regional with 25 points, 18 better than Wingate University.
  • The top runner for Young Harris on the 6K course at the Milliken Research Park was Caroline Conner, who came in 106th place with a run of 25:34.3.
  • Olivia Gilleland came in 114th place with an effort of 25:55.5, while Latty Ryals came in 141st with a time of 27:31.3. 
  • Hannah Dupree ran a 27:51.0 and came in 144th place, while Kiera Lewis came in 149th (29:54.8) and Jessica Herrera was one spot back in 150th (30:13.2).
